Paul began skiing in Banff, Canada in 1967, and first skied Whistler in 1969. My wife, Ursula started skiing in Engelberg, Switzerland in 1969. We live in Los Angeles, and come up to Whistler about 10 times per year.
We've had the good fortune to ski and snowboard throughout Europe, North America, and New Zealand. We bought our condo in Whistler as it is our favorite resort (Verbier is #2).
Our condo is across the street from Whistler Village, which means you can walk to the lifts, yet you won't hear the disco's thumping at 1am.
Our condo is not part of a rental fleet. It's not a palace, but it is our second home. Therefore, we are discriminating in whom we will rent our home to.
My family has a long history at Whistler: My Aunt Joyce and Uncle Paul have had season's passes at Whistler since the mountain opened in 1965, and they are still skiing here!! I have skied Whistler & Blackcomb hundreds of times. The amount of skiable terrain has grown tremendously over the years as new chair lifts have been added which access incredible high alpine bowls and runs.
We know the mountains and we know the Village intimately.
